Renowned for their Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Walla Walla wineries take full advantage of the area's unique geography and mineral-rich soils to craft fine red and white wine. The Appellation’s dry climate, with its cool nights and warm days, contributes to exceptional grape growth. The soils are the result of recurrent ancient basaltic lava flows and flooding which deposited fertile sediments throughout the valley.
