Friday Night Music with Viper Central
6:30 PM to 9:00 PM     Fri, Jun 26, 2015
Venue: Three Rivers Winery, Deck & Lawn
Contact: Tickets may be purchased online below or by phone 509-526-9463 x1

Join us for a casual evening of food catered by Walla Walla Bread Company, Three Rivers wines, and music by the Viper Central, all while enjoying stunning views of the Blue Mountains and our surrounding vineyards.  Wines will be available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle.

Vancouver’s Viper Central first came together through a shared love for classic bluegrass and old-time repertoire, along with the more contemporary styles of acoustic innovators such as David Grisman, Béla Fleck, and David Lindley.

Over the past four years, Viper Central has toured North America and Europe, performing at festivals such as the San Francisco Bluegrass and Old-Time Festival, the Southwell Folk  Festival (UK), and the Willisau Bluegrass Festival (Switzerland). They released their latest album Thump and Howl on May 2nd, 2012.  This third release marks a coming of age for the Vipers - there’s maturity and a confidence that they have found their own sound. While the banjo and fiddle remain central, pedal steel can be heard on several tracks and the melodies draw on such diverse influences as Metis Fiddle, Klezmer, Bluegrass and Rockabilly. Most importantly the songs come from Canadian landscape and experiences and the result is entirely natural, effortless and delightfully original.

Hailing from the small town of Echo, Oregon, Jamie Nasario has caught the attention of many listeners, far and wide.  Her soul driven voice and bluesy repertoire captures the classic vibe from the 50's and 60's while still maintaining a modern flavor. Although fairly new to performing, Nasario's raw talent and sultry singing sounds far from unrefined. After owning her own business for several years, Nasario has proven to be a natural in music and caught on very quickly in this business. Nasario is backed by guitarist, Luke Basile and drummer, Dennis Rogers, "Too Short." Together, this acoustic based group has a captivating presence and showcases talent beyond their years.

Friday Night Music with Ian McFeron
6:30 PM to 9:00 PM     Fri, Jul 17, 2015
Venue: Three Rivers Winery
Contact: Tickets may be purchased online below or by phone 509-526-9463 x1

Join us for a casual evening of food catered by Walla Walla Bread Company, Three Rivers wines, and music by the Ian McFeron, all while enjoying stunning views of the Blue Mountains and our surrounding vineyards. Wines will be available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle.

Ian McFeron broke into the Seattle music scene when discovered by “The Mountain” in Seattle (AAA-formatted KMTT at 103.7 FM) shortly after releasing his debut album, Don’t Look Back (2003). Within months, the first single “Love Me Twice” edged out songs by Modest Mouse, Bob Schneider, The Bo Deans, and Ray LaMontagne in The Mountain’s “New Music Throwdown,” a weekly competition where listeners vote for their favorite of two new songs. Ian has shared the spotlight with international and national artists such as Patty Griffin, Nanci Griffith, Shawn Mullins, Brandi Carlile, Amos Lee, Sister Hazel, Mike Doughty, Hayes Carll, Missy Higgins, Julia Fordham, The Hothouse Flowers, and Jars of Clay.

A prolific songwriter whose lyrical prose and fervent work ethic has drawn comparison to Bob Dylan and Ryan Adams, Ian McFeron has released a steady stream of albums. His seventh, full-length album, Time Will Take You (released April 2, 2013), was recorded and mixed in just two weeks at Studio G! in East Nashville, TN. Produced by Doug Lancio (Grammy nominated producer for John Hiatt and Patty Griffin), the album features musical performances by Lancio as well as Ryan Adams and the Cardinals’ drummer Brad Pemberton and pedal steel player Jon Graboff - as well as Nashville-based piano and organ player Micah Hulscher and fiddler and harmony vocalist Alisa Milner, and bassist and harmony vocalist Norman Baker, (both from McFeron’s road band).

From the beginning, McFeron dedicated himself to building audiences the old fashioned way: on the road. Traveling from city to city, state to state, nation to nation, McFeron performs an average of 200 shows a year spread throughout the United States and Europe, inspiring listeners with his beautifully crafted songs and honest narratives. On the road, McFeron is often joined by Alisa Milner, a Texas-style fiddler, cellist, and harmony vocalist and long-time friends Norman Baker and Mark Bateman on bass and drums.

Friday Night Music with Dedric Clark & The Social Animals
6:30 PM to 9:00 PM     Fri, Jul 24, 2015
Venue: Three Rivers Winery
Contact: Tickets may be purchased online below or by phone 509-526-9463 x1

Join us for a casual evening of food catered by Walla Walla Bread Company, Three Rivers wines, and music by the Dedric Clark & The Social Animals, all while enjoying stunning views of the Blue Mountains and our surrounding vineyards. Wines will be available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle.

With his lighthearted yet soulful take on Americana rock, Dedric Clark finds the 23-year-old songwriter brightening up his ruggedly intimate songwriting with lush melodies and sunny harmonies. Recorded by Fowler at Oceanway Studios and Hillywood Studios in Nashville — and featuring such accomplished guest musicians as guitarists Bryan Sutton (Johnny Cash, Eric Church, Alison Krauss) and Tom Bukovac (Bob Seger, The Beach Boys, Garth Brooks) — his new album is built on both tight musicianship and an earthy, sometimes irreverent honesty. Whether delivering a deceptively breezy breakup song like “Knock Me Out,” a tender acoustic ballad like “Cold,” or a life-on-the-road anthem like “High” (a track written in the dead of night somewhere deep in Colorado, its wide-eyed awe conveyed in lines like “And I got high/Without any medicine”), Clark infuses every note with unabashed emotion. And on Dedric Clark’s plucky, piano-laced lead single “Misunderstood,” the smoky-voiced lyricist cleverly twists together melancholy and hopefulness, kicking off the chorus by pointing out that “It’s hard to be lonely/When we’re all misunderstood.”

Sammy Witness blends folk and indie-rock stylings with jazz-tinged vocals to weave a sound at times reminiscent of Sheryl Crow, Jenny Lewis, and Grace Potter, but altogether uniquely her own. Her debut full-length album Tiger Lily (2013) is the follow-up to her Winter Sessions EP released in 2009 and continues to explore themes of acceptance, growth and the quest for unconditional love.

After over 10 years of performing as a solo artist, Sammy has returned to Seattle and pieced together her new backing band, Sammy Witness & The Reassignment.

“Her appearance at KBAC and her song ‘Pretty Bird’ turned out to be two of 2013’s most welcome surprises!” -Ira Gorden, 98.1Fm KBAC

“There’s a sweet timbre to Sammy Witness’s voice that can be deceiving. Just when you start to think she’s not the type of singer to break out into a guitar-and-percussion-fueled rock frenzy, an explosive track like “In Spirals” comes along – and you’re jolted out of any notions you might have had that you were dealing with another slow-strumming coffee-house folkie.” - Peter Chianca, Wicked Local Plymouth

“The Banner Days is an old saying that means a time to remember and celebrate. When we started writing together, we immediately clicked. As these songs have taken shape one thing has become clear: This project, this catalog of songs and this experience are going to be something special.”

When artists Beth Whitney and Bradford Loomis began writing together, they had no idea their casual co-writing experiment would blossom into the much anticipated album The Banner Days. That first night, they wrote “My Beloved” in two hours. And after a few more writing sessions, it was clear to them both, that these songs merited a bold decision.

From the first time they played together, the chemistry has been powerful. The combination of Beth’s delicate, pure, and melodious voice and Bradford’s soulful, growling tone makes for a beautifully heart wrenching harmonious blend. Their dramatic crescendos, minimalist intensity, through intricate harmonies have elicited comparisons to The Civil Wars, the Swell Season, and Robert Plant and Alison Krauss’ Raising Sand. With equal parts sweetly anthemic, pop tinged folk, provided by Beth, and Bradford’s gritty, passionate Americana Roots sound, The Banner Days is an intrepid step for both artists.
