| Production Notes: | A blend from six different vineyards throughout the Columbia Valley, our 2008 Insania truly captures the bold ripeness and rich texture of a red Bordeaux blend. The grapes were harvested throughout a month’s time in small lots in an effort to receive the fruit at precise ripeness. After being destemmed and crushed, the must was pumped over two to three times a day for maximum color and tannin extraction. The wine was pressed off of the skins and racked into French barrels where it aged for 16 months before bottling. |
